TRIBUTE

Praise to almighty Allah S.W.T, who has given me the strength and good health to complete this internship program. As a Muslim, I believed that all the good words came from our Allah S.W.T and the bad words came from me a human being. 

I am greatly indebted to Executive Director MMastec Engineering Sdn Bhd, Abu Saim Daud whose excellence in supervision and devotion to inspired my intership. Without his untiring assistance, direction, encouragement, comments, suggestions, continuous guidance, support, ideas and constructive criticism throughout this internship, this internship program could not be well.

I like to wish my warmth thanks to the lecturers that taught and guided me during my course of study and finished this internship program especially to Puan Zahrah Yahya as internship program coordinator. Special thanks also to my beloved family especially my parents for their support and understanding during the completion of this internship program.

Special thanks to all my friends for sharing their experiences, time and commitment especially during finishing this internship program. I am grateful because I have a lot of friends were helps and support me throughout the course of completing this internship program.

Since this our last day at MMASTEC Engineering Sdn Bhd, they had prepared a farewell party for us.The party begins after 2pm.We had enjoyed the party and very thankful and grateful for their cooperation with us for this 2 month period. Our supervisor give some motivational support to go through this challenging world and very thankful to us for our cooperation with the company.

From morning until lunch we had doing the collage for the Science and Technology Text Book for Standard 1. After lunch, Ahmad Nazri Bin Raithol Afthal,Mohamed Farhanuddean Bin Ahmad Najib, Mohd Nur Faizzudin Bin Mohd Yusof and I has followed Pak Abu to deliver the completed text books at Sekolah Pendidikan Khas (Cacat Penglihatan) Kampung Batu. Then we has purchased some boxes that we needed for packaging. We has reached office around 5pm.

First of all in the morning, we has helped to paste the printed text book title on the text book hard cover. Then, we has received about 100 boxes of braille paper that we will used to print the text books.We have transfer all the 100 boxes to the office and arrange it properly at the room.

21 December 2010

First of all we had received a call from our site supervisor and they will have a visit around 10.30am to 11.30am.  Then, we had informed to our industrial supervisor (Pak Abu) and prepared ourself to meet the site supervisor. We has finished our meeting with site supervisor around 1 pm. After lunch, we has been asked to meet En Nazrol who is General Manager of the company. Since this is our last week here, he has given some advices and   grateful to us.We has finished our meeting around 5pm.

This is my last week in MMASTEC Engineering Sdn Bhd because I have almost completed my internship program; my experience at MMASTEC Engineering Sdn Bhd has been invaluable. I thoroughly enjoyed my position and learned a great deal about all the various aspects of a major contractions corporation.

Since we has to finished up the balance part that need to be thermoformed, Ahmad Nazri Bin Raithol Afthal, Puvendren A/L Subramaniam, Mohd NurFaizuddin Bin Mohamad Yusof and me has followed Pak Abu to Sekolah Menengah Pendidikan Khas (Cacat Penglihatan) at Setapak to continued the balance part.We had done the thermoforming until 4.30pm,since their lab is need to be closed we had to continued the balance 1 box at the office on Monday (20/12/2010).So, we has finished the whole day at the school.

Puvendren A/L Subramaniam, Ahmad Nazri Bin Raithol Afthal, Mohd Nurfaizuddin bin Mohamad Yusof, and me has followed Pak Abu to Sekolah Menengah Pendidikan Khas ( Cacat Penglihatan ) at Setapak. The purpose we went there because thermoform machine in our office has breakdown, so we had temporarily done the thermoforming at Sekolah Menengah Pendidikan Khas ( Cacat Penglihatan ) at Setapak.We had spend the whole day in the school and has finished three and a half from the seven boxes that we has brought.

First of all we has helped one of the staff to edit the company profile and company logo.We have divided the task among seven of us and we has managed to finished the task exactly before lunch.After lunch, Puvendren A/L Subramaniam, Ahmad Nazri Bin Raithol Afthal, Mohd Nurfaizuddin bin Mohamad Yusof, and me has followed Pak Abu to Malaysian Association for the Blind (MAB) to collect the thermoform machine from Mr. Maniam. We had reached the office around 5.45pm.

In the morning, we had a meeting with our supervisor (Pak Abu) about the effective way to success in life and how go through the competitive world. Then, we has presented the task that has assigned to us before ,he has gave several comments about it and we need to do some corrections.After lunch, we had done the packaging and we has managed to complete the packaging part on the day.

Since we had settled down all the production part of the Science and Technology Text Book Year 1, now we are focusing on the packaging part. First of all, we had wrapped the books and placed it in the box according to the school.We has managed to finished wrapping half of the completed books.

10 December 2010

First of all in the morning, we has received comments from Pak Abu about the assignment that we has submitted to him yesterday.Then, we have make some corrections on the assignment and submit back to Pak Abu again. After lunch, Mohd NurFaizuddin Bin Mohd Yusof, Puvendren A/L Subramaniam, Ahamad Nazri Bin Raithol Afthal and me  has went to Malaysia Association of Blind (MAB) at Brickfields. The purpose we went to MAB is to deliver the thermorform machine in order to be repaired. We have back at office around 7 pm.

On this morning, we had a meeting with our supervisor (Pak Abu) and given a task for each of us.We have to come out with our topic and have to present to our supervisor. Then, our supervisor has given a example of his topic and explain to us how to prepare ourself for the presentation. After lunch, we had started to prepared our presentation by looking for a topic and searching for a point. Lastly, after we has managed to complete the task and submit to our supervisor and waiting for the respond.

First of all in the morning we has been asked to punch and bind the Mathematics text books for Year 1. After lunch, Ahmad Nazri Bin Raithol Afthal, Puvendren A/L Subramaniam, Mohd Nur Faizuddin bin Mohd Yusof and me has went to Sekolah Menengah Pendidikan Khas Cacat Penglihatan in Setapak with Pak Abu to request some Braillon paper from the school principals. Then, we went to Damansara to collect some papers from abang Roslan.

First of all in the morning,we have received a call from Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka (DBP) and they has asked us to send MMastec Engineering Sdn Bhd company profile to them. Ahmad Nazri Bin Raithol Afthal, Puvendren A/L Subramaniam and me went to Level 10 at Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka to submit the company profile to Puan NurAidah from Intelect and Propoerties Department. After lunch, Mohd Nur Faizuddin Bin Mohd Yusof, Ahmad Nazri Bin Raithol Afthal, Puvendren A/L Subramaniam and me has followed Pak Abu and bought COMB (binding coil) about 8 sets. From there we had went to Malaysia Associate of Blind (MAB) to pay for the braillon paper and collect about 20 boxes for the company use but unfortunately they had run out of stock.

On this morning we have attend the meeting in the office with our supervisor ( Pak Abu). The purpose of this meeting is to enhance our motivation level in the company. Other than that,Pak Abu has appreciate our work since the date we joined the company.Then, each one of us given our own opinion about  working situation and the task assigned to us.The meeting was end around 10 a.m, then we were continued to do the several collage that not completed yet.Suddenly, there is no electricity in the whole building and we were go back home early around 12 pm.

First of all Puvendren A/L Subramaniam, Mohamad Nur Faizzuddin Bin Mohamad Yusof and me has been asked to punch the Science and Technology Text Book Module 1 until lunch. We have managed to finished about 15 books until our lunch time.After lunch we has continued our work again which is binding. We had bind Science and Technology Text Book Module 2 until 6 pm. Lastly, we has managed to finished about 25 books.

After complete bind the cover page for the Mathematics text book. We have been asked to bind the book for the Mathematics text book. It takes time about 4 hours.Then we have continued with the correction for the Braille figures.After lunch Puvendren A/L Subramaniam, Ahmad Nazri Bin Raithol Afthal, Mohamad Nur Faizzuddin Bin Yusof and me has went to Pusat Bahasa Mustika located at Pandan Jaya to collect the Braillon paper.
